DAY 1: ZAGREB CITY —> TRAKOSCAN CASTLE —> PULA

Welcome to your Epic Croatian Photo journey. Today will be a big day! We meet at the hotel in Zagreb’s City Center at 09:00 am in the hotels lobby. From our hotel, we will set out for our day’s journey to the Trakoscan Castle and afterward, we head to Pula, a village on the tip of the Istrian Peninsula.

DAY 2: PULA —> rovinj

Today, we head out early to shoot at the Roman Gladiator Coliseum (built in the year 24bc). Near the days end we will photograph the world famous seaside village of Rovinj at Golden Hour. A picture-perfect setting! It is said that Casanova woo’ed his women here in this stunning seaside town.

DAY 3: Rovinj —> Zadar

Today, we head south to the ancient walled city of Zadar, the 1st of many UNESCO World Heritage sites we will visit during the week. Weather permitting, we’ll photograph the most stunning of sunsets in all of the Dalmatian Coast here.

DAY 4: ZADAR —> Trogir —> Split

Today we head south to our 2nd UNESCO World Heritage site, Trogir. With its stunning promenade and tiny cobblestone pathways, we’ll no doubt get stunning pictures here. We may opt to end our day on the famed hillside above Split, the Klis Fortress. Made famous in the HBO show, Game of Thrones.

DAY 5: Split

Today we will be heading inside the famed palace walls of Split, our 3rd UNESCO World Heritage site, the Palace of Emperor Diocletian. While at the palace, we will photograph some of the locations as the hit HBO show, Game of Thrones. We will hear some great stories about life in the region from our ‘private’ guide that grew up in the Palace walls and just before sunset, we will make our way across the promenade and harbor to set up cameras for amazing Golden hour photos of the seaside skyline.

Day 6: Split —> Island Hvar —> SPlit

Today we take a day trip over and back to photograph the world famous roman cobblestone town on Island Hvar. With living visual history before us, we’ll be in the presence of a historic seaside town and its Spaniola Fortress.

DAY 7: Split —> PLITVITCE LAKES NATIONAL PARK

Today our journey takes us to our 5th UNESCO World Heritage site, Plitvitce Lakes National Park. After arriving here, we check into our hotel rooms and ready our cameras for an afternoon visit to the park.

DAY 8: PLITVITCE LAKES NATIONAL PARK —> ZAGREB

Today we set out early to explore the park for a sunrise photo tour and enjoy some of the worlds finest waterscapes and waterfalls on the planet. Later in the day we head back to the capital city of Zagreb. Where we check in to our accommodations and have our final group dinner together.
